Past events include the Tony Awards, Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival, CMA Fest, the Academy of Country Music Awards and many more.

Soft lighting, tactile objects and soothing sounds offer a place on campus for emotional wellness and self-regulation to support neurodivergent students.

Over the holiday break, Belmont introduced new charging spaces for students on the go - a new student venture called Plug. Plug was made possible by junior business student Abdul Abdurasulov who partnered with the Thomas F. Cone Sr. Center for Entrepreneurship to take actionable steps in bringing power banks to campus. Plug power bank stations offer a portable power bank sharing service where chargers can be rented for convenient usage at the rate of $2 an hour, or $6 a day. The idea stemmed from a trip last summer to his family's home in Uzbekistan, where power bank stations are regularly found at local coffee shops, restaurants and cafes.

Belmont University recently released the Dean's List for the fall 2024 semester. Approximately 53% of the University's 7,175 undergraduate students qualified for the fall 2024 Dean's List.

Business systems analytics and management double major Jess Finny has fully embraced student life from participating in InterVarsity with University Ministries to joining the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and serving as a student leader on the Orientation Council in Belmont's Towering Traditions new student orientation program. Finny has not only excelled socially and academically but she has also found success as an entrepreneur, creating Chechi's Chai.

More than 600 student musicians and vocalists to perform in the beloved annual concert tradition, "Christmas at Belmont: Live from Nashville." Beginning Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 8 p.m. EST / 7 p.m. CST, this popular holiday spectacular will stream to a global audience on Prime Video and the Amazon Music channel on Twitch. This year marks the first time the event has been available on a global streaming platform. A showcase of Belmont's musical talent through an array of traditional carols, classical masterworks and seasonal favorites, this tremendous opportunity exemplifies the enduring value of a Belmont education.
