Belmont University's annual Science Undergraduate Research Symposium showcased more than 200 student researchers who presented their findings to peers, professors and others across campus. Poster sessions and oral presentation sessions were held for various departments including biology, chemistry, physics, math, computer science, psychology and neurology.

Each year, approximately 40 Belmont students from the psychological sciences and neuroscience programs travel to conferences across North America. Senior Caroline Avery found the confidence to call herself a 'scientist' through presenting psychology and neuroscience research at these prestigious events.

While opportunities to present their research at prestigious international conferences are typically reserved for Ph.D. candidates and faculty at major research institutions, Belmont University students are gaining valuable experience and networks undergraduates.

May 2024 Belmont University graduate Lydia Camp was recently awarded a Fulbright program grant to study in Spain at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Camp will study a combination of economic history, sociology and political science in a two-year Master of Social Sciences program.

Belmont University has been awarded the 2022-23 Missouri Valley Conference All-Academic Award. The University has now claimed a conference academic achievement award 20 of the last 22 academic years.

Belmont University has been awarded the 2022-23 Missouri Valley Conference All-Academic Award. with 31student-athletes carrying a perfect 4.0 GPA for the 2022-23 academic year.

Honors are bestowed upon students who have dedicated themselves to successful scholarly pursuits, inspired creativity within their fields of study or peer groups and served one another with a heart that champions Jesus. Twelve awards were given, all of which recognize an admirable individual willingness to go above and beyond the norm.

Nine students within Belmont University's Watkins College of Art-Bella Pace, Bella Stern, Celine Sanderson, Ally Zylstra, Grace Swing, Caleigh Furyk, Sophie Elizondo, Zack Ford and Ella Virostek- received awards at the 58th Annual Nashville American Advertising Awards on February 25th, 2023. The event is designed to showcase the work of and bridge the gap between student and professional designers.
