As Belmont concludes its Black History Month 2025 celebration, one student leader stands at the intersection of community building and cultural celebration. Esther Gitimu, junior public health major and president of the Black Student Association (BSA), embodies the transformative power of finding and fostering belonging on campus.

Law school is known for being a time of incredible growth and incredible stress. Belmont's College of Law mitigates the stressful part of the experience through its peer mentorship program, which creates spaces for students to talk through their stressors and build a sense of community.

For the past year, the Tennessee Music Therapy Task Force included a special representative - Belmont senior music therapy major Cassie Shearer, who served as the student liaison.

When Belmont pharmacy student Kaylee Heflin set foot on Capitol Hill for the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) Conference, she had one mission in mind - to promote better patient care and pharmacy services for communities across Tennessee and beyond.

More than 50 students and organizations were recognized for their leadership on campus at the 2024 Belmont Student Leadership Awards (BSLA) through the Division for Student Formation Wednesday, April 10. Representing a wide range of disciplines and interests, the BSLAs celebrate the contributions students made to the Belmont community.
