Jessica Hadik, a Belmont Student and Aurora, IL Native, Brings Home International DECA Recognition

Jessica Hadik, a Aurora, IL native, recently participated in the International Collegiate DECA Competition, an opportunity for budding professionals to put their business acumen to the test, with a group of fellow Belmont students. During the competition, Belmont's collegiate DECA chapter swept the award categories and brought home many impressive honors.

Of the team's earned awards, Hadik was named a top ten finalist in the Entrepreneurship Challenge. Every one of Belmont's individual event finalists placed in the top ten of their events and five student teams advanced to the final round of the Entrepreneurship Challenge, among 52 teams. Three groups placed in the Challenge's top ten and one of those teams received first place.
