Cynthia Klauber, a Belmont Student and Issaquah, WA Native, Brings Home International DECA Recognition

Cynthia Klauber, a Issaquah, WA native, recently participated in the International Collegiate DECA Competition, an opportunity for budding professionals to put their business acumen to the test, with a group of fellow Belmont students. During the competition, Belmont's collegiate DECA chapter swept the award categories and brought home many impressive honors.

Of the team's earned awards, Klauber was named a top 10 finalist in the Marketing Management Case Competition. Every one of Belmont's individual event finalists placed in the top ten of their events and five student teams advanced to the final round of the Entrepreneurship Challenge, among 52 teams. Three groups placed in the Challenge's top ten and one of those teams received first place.
